Evoke Facial Remodeling Treatments

"Facial remodeling" is a fancy word for tightening and lifting of skin tissues and shaping and contouring the jawline and cheekbones.

Evoke by InMode is the workstation we use at Flycatcher.

Evoke treatment delivers heat, via radiofrequency (RF) energy, to the subdermal layer of skin, causing it to tighten and lift.

Microneedling for skin tightening

Microneedling involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles using our FDA-approved SkinPen device, creating small micro-channels. A natural wound response causes your body to produce more collagen which improves your skin's elasticity and firmness.

Microneedling may be a better option for men with darker skin tones who are not candidates for heat-based skin tightening treatments (“laser resurfacing”) or chemical-based therapies (“chemical peels”).

Microneedling treatments can be purchased individually or as a series of treatments. 

Numbing of the treatment area is required before microneedling treatment. Including the time needed for numbing, a typical microneedling session is 60 minutes. 

Your face can be treated on its own or your neck can also be included in your treatment. 

Multiple microneedling treatments will be needed for best results. Our suggestion is to start with a series of four sessions scheduled three to four weeks apart. Follow this with an annual treatment or even twice-a-year treatments.

Chemical peels for moderate skin tightening

Medical-grade chemical peels provide moderate skin tightening by stimulating collagen production which improves your skin's elasticity and firmness.

While chemical peels will not eliminate sagging skin, they will improve the skin's texture on your face and neck.

Discomfort is minimal and you will experience no downtime after the procedure.

FAQs

Is Evoke treatment painful?

The heat being applied is very comfortable- it will reach 110 degrees F. You will feel the RF energy as short pulses that come and go like waves in the ocean. This sensation isn't painful, it's just a little uncomfortable if the energy levels are set too high. These levels can be adjusted for you during the treatment.

Does Evoke treatment have side effects?

Both Evoke Face and Evoke Neck use FDA-cleared technology that has been proven safe and effective. The device has many clever built-in safety features including a "patient call button" and shut-off and automatic temperature controls. After treatment you may have some small indentations (from the applicator) for a couple of hours and a little redness, but hardly noticeable. You may feel mild warmth in the treatment area for an hour or two.

How soon will I see results with Evoke treatment?

Typically, it will take three sessions over a three week period before you notice significant results. Improvements can continue to develop for up to eight to 12 weeks after your last treatment.

How long will Evoke skin tightening results last?

Evoke skin tightening results can last several months to a year, but they are not permanent. Bi-annual or annual maintenance sessions can help maintain the results. A healthy lifestyle, consistent skincare routine, and sun protection also helps.

Is microneedling painful? Microneedling can be painful for some but we minimize discomfort by applying a numbing cream to your face and/or neck. We’ll follow up with another cream to ease any discomfort after treatment. Then you’re on your way.
How long do microneedling results last? How often should I seek treatment? For the best results you should try a series of three or four treatments each spaced four weeks apart. Follow this series with an individual microneedling treatment bi-annually or even annually for optimal long-term results.
How long does microneedling take to heal?
Redness and swelling is normal for up to 48 hours. For some, the healing can happen much quicker.
What if I have a beard? What treatments will work for me?
Don't fret Burly Man, we've got options. Kind of. If you have a full beard you won't be able to utilize our Evoke technology or our microneedling unless you're willing to shave your beard prior to treatment. You can have a little scruff for your microneedling treatment, but not for the Evoke.
What is RF microneedling? RF Microneedling is different than what we offer via microneedling with our Skinpen. It's more intense (and painful!). This treatment goes to a greater depth and uses radio frequency waves to tighten the skin. It can be an effective treatment for some. Currently, we do not offer RF Microneedling treatment at Flycatcher. 
Will my chemical peel hurt?

Peels vary from light to medium to heavy. Heavy peels will have more discomfort.  Discomfort is minimal for light and medium peels. You will experience some redness immediately after but no downtime after the treatment.

How often should I get a chemical peel? This can depend on what type of peel you had previously: light, medium, or heavy. As long as your skin has healed properly you can have another peel in as little as two weeks later. You'll recover faster after a lighter peel. Monthly peels are a great way to round out your skin care routine.
Why do you sell treatments in packages? In many cases, to get the absolute best results, multiple treatments will be required. This is the case with Evoke treatments (especially), micronneedling, and chemical peels. We do sell individual treatments for those who want to try a procedure first before investing in a package. Packages are also slightly discounted.
